I started acrylic pouring during COVID, like many people searching for something to do in a time that felt uncertain and unfamiliar. At first, it was just curiosity, a quiet experiment, following tutorials and learning as I went.
But something unexpected happened.
The paint didn’t behave as planned. It moved, shifted, and blended in ways I couldn’t fully control. In that unpredictability, I found something rare: focus without effort.
Over time, it became less about making art and more about presence. Pouring paint and watching colour spread across the canvas created a space where everything else could fall away.
